Leo

Elliot was just about to say something, to tell the other that he meant to actually take the pills, but before he could, Leo had already turned around and was on the phone. “O-Oi-! Hey—!” But complaining for being ignored was no use since Leo was already talking. With a huff and a twitching eyelid (like it always did when he was pissed off), Elliot walked out of the building, all the while mumbling to himself about how he “hated to be ignored”.
Once outside, he sat down on a nearby bench, and to kill time, took out his own phone, only to see that he had quite the amount of messages. Most of them were from Gilbert, telling him how Vincent was acting creepy, and
beggingasking Elliot to get him out of there because there were cats and he just wanted to go home. However, all the raven got for an answer was a “I can’t, I’m busy right now.” It made him question once more what that was with Gil and cats, why he was so scared of them, but Elliot quickly shook that off. That really wasn’t important right now. However, after reading the last message, the boy jumped to his feet after a few minutes of silence, face flushed out of embarrassment and yelling at his phone.
“WHAT THE-!?”
“WHAT THE HELL IS THIS GIRL THINKING!?”
A few people were startled due to the volume of his voice, but the blonde honestly didn’t care.
It was from Vanessa, telling him when she would be home, that she loved her ‘Baby brother’, and that she hoped he wouldn’t get scared and cry should a thunderstorm or something approach. Not that he ever cried because of a storm. … Well okay, it maybe, possibly, perhaps, sort of happened one time when he was around six years old, but still.
He was so busy with grumbling and mumbling under his breath that he almost failed to notice Leo approaching him, and he probably would have not seen the smaller boy if he wouldn’t have looked up from his phone. Huffing to himself, Elliot put the small device back into his pocket and grabbed his bag which he had previously put down beside him on the bench.
Trying his best to hide his still slightly flushed face, the boy took a few steps towards his friend before speaking again. “So…” he started, clearing his throat. “How did it go? Can we look for Marie now, or…?”
“We fought for a bit, but he allowed me to go. We can go search for her, but I think we should go on a few witch hunts ourselves before we do so. She won’t be impressed with a Puella Magi with zero experience.”
[ In fact, the only reason the senior took him under her caring wing and taught him the ways and unspoken rules of the Magi was because she could practically feel the massive, brimming potential coming from Leo, which technically was Elliot’s fault. If not for that, she would have thrown him back into the dirty streets without a second thought.
It was an ugly train of thought, sure, but true. Marie didn’t care for much, after all, with that foggy soul gem. Which they didn’t talk about. Soul gems were the business of the Magi that it would call its owner of course, and Kyubey. ]

“There were a few passing Puella Magi here before, you know. Oz and Ada Vessalius, siblings, but partners. If we can find them, I’m sure they’d be pleased to teach you. Or, we can to it ourselves. Your choice.”
[ Leo has stepped away from Elliot by this point, confused by the uneasy trembling of his hands. It wouldn’t be unexpected if he got a panic attack from encountering a rather dangerous witch with Elliot.
He’d probably be need to be cradled in those swordsman’s very arms and told it was all right and it was okay, idiot, with a half-hearted sort of tone. His illnesses were no joke. but that sort of treatment, especially from Elliot, would ease his nerves quickly. ]
